## Rogers alternatives
Rogers alternatives are whatever else the address check returns: Telus or Bell in some provinces, a regional cable company, Xplore fixed wireless, or Starlink where no wire is offered. In Nova Scotia, Rogers is not the local cable incumbent on the pages in this set; Purple Cow, Bell Aliant, and Eastlink are.

## Rogers outage, slow service, or a price increase
No Rogers outage score is published here. Promo cards end and the regular price applies; this check did not record a single hike date. Unlimited Xfinity packages were described as having no usage overage. Term plans can have an early cancellation fee. Cancelling a month-to-month bundle was described as having no early cancellation fee, and as losing the bundle savings. Upload speeds were not in the text kept.

## Starlink vs Rogers
Starlink vs Rogers: use the address check, because the packages page and the plans page did not match. Packages showed Ignite 150 at $109.99 beside "Save $30/month for 24 months", 500 at $119.99, and 1.5 Gig at $129.99. The plans page showed Xfinity Starter 100 at $105 on a 24-month term without time-limited savings and a $5 autopay discount, 500 at $125, and 2 Gig at $155. Another plans view showed Starter 150 at $110. Starlink Residential 100 is $75 on the service-plans table, in select areas, with lower upload than a wired gigabit plan typically advertises. That upload comparison is not a Rogers measurement we recorded.

Residential 100 is $75, Residential 200 is $115, and Residential Max is $150 on the Canada service-plans list.

## Rural and town
Rogers home internet is an address check, not a town-name check. Rural addresses outside the cable or fibre plant are where Starlink is usually compared. This note does not claim Rogers availability in Nova Scotia.

## When Rogers is the better choice
- Rogers internet is offered at the address and you want a wired plan.
- You can confirm which of the two public cards applies, including the early cancellation fee on a term.
- You do not want a dish, and the wire is the service the address check returns.
