## Bell alternatives
Bell alternatives are the other provider the address check returns. In Nova Scotia that is often Purple Cow, Eastlink, or Xplore, plus Starlink where Bell fibre and Wireless Home Internet are not offered. Do not paste Nova Scotia Fibe prices onto a national quote.

## Bell outage, slow service, or a price increase
No national Bell outage score is published here. No national price-increase date was read. Wireless Home Internet in Nova Scotia says its price is subject to increase; that sentence is on the Nova Scotia page, not a national card.

## Starlink vs Bell
Starlink vs Bell: if Bell fibre or cable is offered, price that plan on Bell's address check. Upload and latency on fibre are why the wire is often the better fit, and this page does not invent a speed test. Starlink Residential 100 is $75, Residential 200 is $115, and Max is $150 on the Canada service-plans table, in select areas for the capped tiers. Nova Scotia readers should use the Bell Aliant comparison for the Fibe and $50 wireless rows.
Checked 2026-10-19, confirm at starlink.com.
Residential 100 is $75, Residential 200 is $115, and Residential Max is $150 on the Canada service-plans list.

## Rural and town
Rural Bell service, where it exists, includes Wireless Home Internet in some areas. The $50 Nova Scotia price is not a national price. Town fibre is an address check. Starlink remains the satellite row when the Bell check offers nothing you can use.

## When Bell is the better choice
- Bell fibre or cable is offered at the address.
- You want wired upload and you do not want a dish.
- You are in Nova Scotia and the Bell Aliant rows, not this national placeholder, match the address.
